April 2008 - Domestics -Score Completed
StootzMusic has completed the score for Rob Curry's short film "Domestics" which was funded by the UK Film Council. The project came about through a recommendation from the excellent sound designer Fabrice.
March 2008 - Dealing with the Dead - Score Completed
StootzMusic provided a library track and a custom composition for Safeena Chaudhry's film "Dealing with the Dead". Safeena approached StootzMusic with a really tight deadline of only a week, but the combination of the library track (Phoenix) and the custom composition gave Safeena the missing pieces for her film.
March 2008 - Just For Fun - Score Completed
StootzMusic has completed the score for the 50 second version of "Just For Fun" which has been submitted to the Cobravision competition. There is a longer (2min +) version of the film in the pipeline that StootzMusic will be providing the extended soundtrack for.
February 2008 - Diploma in Music For The Media - Completed
Stootz has gained his Diploma from the Music for the Media course run by EMMY award wining tutor, Guy Michelmore .
December 2007 - Shatter - Score Completed
Harry Clegg's film, Shatter, has received the completed score and is undergoing the final post-production touches and assembly.

Jacqui Adam's Cobravision short, Crass Transit, complete with Stootz's soundtrack is up on Stootz's YouTube page.
September 2007 - Mirror / Image Score Completed
Dean Monarch (NFTS Graduate) received the completed score for Mirror / Image and this was his final piece for his NFTS course. The finished film and score can be seen on Stootz's YouTube page.
August 2007 - Semi-Finalist in UK Songwriting Competition
Stootz entered a track into the UK Songwriting Competition a while back and just received word that he got all the way to the semi-final stages!!
The track entered was "I'm Going to D.I.S.C.O." which benefited from some outside help as it was named and has lyrics by his partner Samantha Collins. You can hear the track at Stootz's Soundclick site.

August 2007 - "Crass Transit" - Score Completed
A bit of a tall order but the score for this 50 second Cobravision entry was written, recorded and delivered in one night... about 3-4 hours actually! The Director, Jacqui Adams, said she loved it and now the pressure is off for the August deadline, she is hoping to re-edit the film to make it a little longer.

July 2007 - Score Completed for "Small Pond"
The score for Small Pond has been completed and the film is now in its final edit stage. The project had aggresive timescales and as such was composed, recorded, mixed and submitted 8 days later. The current plan is that it will be shown at the following screening:

June 2007 - Accepted as a Member of the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters
Andy has been accepted as a member of BACS which will open new areas of opportunity and collaboration.
June 2007 - New Track - Phoenix Film Intro
I've completed a new demo track for a suspense / horror genre film, called Phoenix, check it out on the homepage.
June 2007 - "Small Pond" (OTTFilms)
Stootz will be providing the soundtrack - OTTFilms Director / Producer Matt Compton approached me for a potential job on his edgy, urban film "Small Pond". I provided some demo tracks and Matt replied:
"Thanks once again for being involved with this project, now I've heard those tracks I know you're right for this film!."
The film is in post-production and I will begin work on the final score towards the end of June when I receive the fine cut.
June 2007 - "Front Line Support" (OTTFilms)The film has been GREENLIT - Front Line Support has been "greenlit" by OTTFilms and moves into pre-production phase. I'm going to be part of the production crew (in any way I can be) and I have started work on some ideas for the soundtrack and sound design elements. The crew are currently acquiring props and scouting locations with shooting planned for late July 2007.
May 2007 - "The Locket" (OTTFilms)
"The Locket" is a horror story still in the scripting stage over on OTTFilms, but I liked the script so much I put forward some ideas to the writer, which were very well received. As this project moves into production I hope to provide the score and possibly the sound design elements. "The Locket" demo is on the homepage in the Flash player.
I am In discussion with OTTFilms about a film script I wrote called "Front Line Support". I plan on providing the score and sound design if it gets accepted and greenlit.
